Microsoft’s Amazing Hyperlapse Video-Smothing App Now Available for Mac

Spread the love

Earlier this year, Microsoft launched a neat piece of software called Hyperlapse
that could make butter-smooth time-lapses from jerky footage. Not, it’s available for Mac.

Here’s a reminder of what it does
:

Hyperlapse doesn’t just speed up a long piece of footage. That process usually involves dropping a specific number of frames and can actually serve to make jerky footage even more unbearable to watch. Hyperlapse instead processes your footage using intelligent software technologies and algorithms to stabilize and smooth out the results. So when you’re shooting a clip you intend to turn into a time lapse you don’t have to worry about keeping your camera rock-steady while recording.

You can try it out for free, but if you don’t like watermarks on your videos, you’ll have to pony up $50.
