Notion Ink Will Start Selling Its Cain 8 Windows Tablet Real Soon For Rs 9,990

Notion Ink is at it again and this time there are two Windows powered devices which will be made available very soon in the country via Flipkart. The company’s already selling the Cain 10 inch form size, hybrid device and in the coming weeks, you’ll have an 8 inch tablet to choose from as well.

Cain 8 forms part of Notion Ink’s newest product range that comprises of a hybrid tablet right now. Cain 8 will be competing with the likes of HP, Dell, Acer and iBall in this space but for price of Rs 9,990 the company has taken a jumpstart on its rivals even before bringing it out for selling.

Cain 8 sports an 8 inch display as the name suggests, packing with 1280x800p resolution. It will be seen running on the Windows 8.1 platform and powered by 1.83 GHz quad-core Intel Bay Trail Atom CPU with 1GB RAM and offering 16GB storage innards. It comes fitted with dual-facing 2MP cameras, just for the sake of it. Connectivity wise, Cain 8 offers SIM support for voice calling and 3G connect, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, micro-HDMI and micro-USB among others. For a tablet with multitude of options, Cain 8 sticks to basic design principles and offers comfortable handling with its 9mm sleek sizing and weighing mere 365 grams.

Not only can you expand the storage further up to 64GB but with USB 3.0 port in tow, external storage devices (up to 500 GB) will also become relevant for users. As is the case with most Windows products these days, Microsoft Office 365 is getting bundled with one year subscription along with unlimited OneDrive cloud storage.
